UPDATE: Talks are back on.
According to George Richards of the Miami Herald, the Florida Panthers and agent for Dmitry Kulikov are once again actively negotiating a new deal.

There's the sense restricted free agent Dmitry Kulikov could have a new deal worked out with the Florida Panthers soon -- but nothing official is on the books yet.
Although there's word Kulikov has left his KHL squad (Lokomotiv), George Richards of the Miami Herald reports the Panthers haven't spoke with the young defenseman's agent in the past 48 hours.
Still, since Kulikov is free to play overseas without a current NHL contract, you get the feeling a new deal will be hammered out shortly.
