Emery's future (update)

UPDATE: RDS's Renaud Lavoie reports goaltender Ray Emery will sign with the Philadelphia Flyers.

*** Goalie Ray Emery may soon be spoken for. According to The Fourth Period, the Chicago Blackhawks are near re-signing the 30-year-old to a new contract.
"... Emery, 30, earned $1.15 million this past season, where he posted a 17-1-0 record with a 1.94 goals-against-average and a .922 save percentage.
It's believed Emery will receive a fair raise, the source said, and the netminder is comfortable with his role with the organization, as the backup to Corey Crawford ..."
Teams in the market for a goaltender -- ie. the Philadelphia Flyers and New York Islanders -- were believed to be interested in Emery. He was set to become an unrestricted free agent this Friday.
