By Luke Lapinski
UPDATE: Dan Rosen of NHL.com reports Anze Kopitar will return to the Los Angeles Kings' lineup Tuesday.
He's expected to play on a line with Dustin Brown and Justin Williams.

Multiple outlets are suggesting Anze Kopitar could return from his knee injury as soon as tomorrow night when the Los Angeles Kings visit Colorado. If that proves to be the case, the prolific forward will have missed just one game as a result of the ailment.
Even if he can't quite go on Tuesday, this can be taken as a great sign that's he's very close to making his season debut. The Kings could have used him in their season opening loss to Chicago on Saturday, and clearly need him healthy for the long haul if they plan on having a shot at repeating as Stanley Cup champions. Kopitar has averaged just over 72 points per season since bursting into the NHL in 2006-07, and has led LA in total points every year since the 2007-08 campaign.
