Interest in Gomez

Forward Scott Gomez shouldn't be without an NHL squad for much longer. And the recently bought-out 33-year-old could be headed west.
Sportsnet's Nick Kypreos suggests Gomez' list has narrowed down to teams in the Western Conference, and the San Jose Sharks are considered the "best bet".
Bought out by the Montreal Canadiens, Gomez became an unrestricted free agent late this past week.
