Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton stands an excellent chance of playing in the NHL this season. At least to start.

It's The decision to keep Laughton all season long would come as a surprise. However, a five-game 'tryout' for the 2012 first-round pick -- without burning the first year of his contract -- could suit the Flyers nicely.
