Cammalleri set to play center

By Victoria Matiash

It looks as though the Calgary Flames are shifting Mike Cammalleri the middle. According to the Calgary Sun, Cammalleri is likely to center a line with Curtis Glencross and Lee Stempniak when the Flames host the Minnesota Wild Saturday.

The new role might take some getting used to for the left-winger, but he appears open to the challenge.

"Whatever we need," Cammalleri said. "For me, it’s a matter of whatever coach thinks is the best way to get some wins ... It’s been awhile, I played there a bit last year. It definitely doesn’t feel as natural as the wing does, but I’ll work at it."
