Tarasenko's health
By Victoria Matiash
The St. Louis Blues may be forced to manage without Vladimir Tarasenko for a bit. The rookie forward was helped off the ice and taken to hospital during Wednesday's 1-0 loss to the Colorado Avalanche. According to Dan O'Neill of the St. Louis Post-Dispatch, TV replays suggest Tarasenko was "significantly stunned" after taking a shot to the head.
As far as the Blues are officially concerned, Tarasenko has an upper-body injury. On the upside, the 21-year-old was on the plane with his teammates on route home after the game. Stay tuned.
