Comeau's audition
By Victoria Matiash
If he makes a good impression Sunday, Blake Comeau could fill a more prominent role for the Calgary Flames beyond the one game. According to the Calgary Sun, Comeau is expected to center a line with Jarome Iginla and Curtis Glencross when the Flames visit the Dallas Stars.
"We have a shortage of centers," Flames coach Bob Hartley said, explaining the reason behind Comeau's promotion. "It's plain and simple. He's a hard worker. We're trying to bring grit and passion to our lineup ... I talked to him, and he said, 'Yes, I can play centre,' so we're trying him."
The soon-to-be 27-year-old winger hasn't played center often in his career. He has just the one assist in 11 games this season.
