Goodness knows, they could use him. The Nashville Predators could have Patric Hornqvist back in the lineup within a couple of weeks.
According to Josh Cooper of the Tennessean, coach Barry Trotz suggests the 26-year-old winger is on schedule to return relatively soon.
"... He's skating pretty well. Trotz said yesterday once Hornqvist returns to normal practice he's about a week away from playing ..."
Leading the Predators in scoring before suffering the knee sprain in late January, Hornqvist started skating again this week. The Preds are dead-last in the NHL with an average of 1.77 goals per game.
