In any case, LeBrun reveals the Ducks are hoping to trade for a right-handed defenseman before the March 5 deadline (Souray’s a lefty). In regards to other trade rumblings, LeBrun has the latest on the market for Buffalo Sabres netminder Ryan Miller, the potential availability of Colorado Avalanche forward Ryan O’Reilly, and how one Atlantic Division club may have an interest in dealing for goalie Michal Neuvirth of the Washington Capitals.
Via ESPN Insider, Craig Custance tackles the weekly mailbag, touching on such subjects as the potential captain for Team USA, what GM Jim Nill should, and should not, do to upgrade the Dallas Stars' defense, Ted Nolan’s future in Buffalo, and the upside to including cucumber in one’s lunchtime sandwich.
