Though the NHL schedule has been clear the past few days (and a roster freeze through tomorrow has kept rosters essentially intact), there have been some intriguing developments this week. Perhaps the biggest is that rookie Sharks winger Tomas Hertl is out indefinitely due to a right knee injury. There has been some hockey being played the past few days over in Sweden at the IIHF World Junior Championship.
