Cooke: a 'bargain' for Wild

Some off-season free agent signings are garnering more attention than others (id est Daniel Alfredsson/Detroit Red Wings). However, some slightly less-conspicuous moves could prove to be the greater investments, long-term. ESPN Insider Rob Vollman (Hockey Prospectus) suggests (below) the Minnesota Wild may benefit handsomely from nailing down forward Matt Cooke for the next three years.
