UPDATE: As we noted last week, the Pittsburgh Penguins could be in position to deal a quality defenseman. And, given the constant need for such an asset around the league, they probably wouldn't have a very difficult time finding a trade partner. That doesn't guarantee they'll make such a move though. As our own Craig Custance points out, the lowered salary cap for 2013-14 might simply mean a team like the Penguins won't have their typical in-season flexibility to acquire a player or two at the trade deadline.
