Dougie Hamilton's playoff role

Rookie defenseman Dougie Hamilton may not see a lot of action for the Boston Bruins this postseason. Fluto Shinzawa of the Boston Globe suggests two of Wade Redden, Matt Bartkowski, Adam McQuaid, and Hamilton will make up the Bruins' third defensive pairing in the playoffs -- at least until injuries come into play. And if stick position remains a key factor for coach Claude Julien -- who likes to utilize most of his defensemen on their dominant side -- McQuaid may have the edge over fellow right-handed shot Hamilton.
