Considered a priority for the Boston Bruins, the signing of RFA-to-be Tuukka Rask to an extension is expected in the foreseeable future. But making the math work won't be an easy task. ESPN Insider Craig Custance advises that GM Peter Chiarelli will have to find a way of jamming the goaltender's new salary within a limited amount of cap space. The Bruins have about $12 million of wiggle room available for their 2013-14 roster, not including forwards Marc Savard (IR, presumably), Nathan Horton (UFA), and defenseman Andrew Ference (UFA).
