It seems Pavel Datsyuk hasn't changed his mind about wrapping up his pro playing career in Russia. The perennial All-Star forward was fairly candid about how much he enjoyed playing at home during the NHL lockout. Which indicates, as discussed by the Detroit News, there's an excellent chance Datsyuk will sign overseas once his current contract with the Detroit Red Wings expires in 2014.
Datsyuk is already acknowledging the possibility of signing in the KHL as "an alternative" after next season. The cherished member of the Red Wings will be 36 years old at that point.
