Just two games after his return from a scary concussion, defenseman James Wisniewski won't play for the Columbus Blue Jackets at the defending Stanley Cup champion Los Angeles Kings tonight, and it's "probably safe to call him questionable for Saturday," when the Jackets visit the Phoenix Coyotes, according to Aaron Portzline of the Columbus Dispatch.

Wisniewski's absence isn't related to the injury, however: his wife is giving birth to the couple's first child, the paper's Shawn Mitchell reports.

In other Blue Jackets news, Portzline says new GM Jarmo Kekalainen, who is still awaiting his visa, may not be cleared to travel to the U.S. from his native Finland until the middle of next week. The holdup is due to federal offices being closed Monday in observance of Presidents' Day.
