Tim Murray is still getting his feet wet as the new general manager of the Sabres, and a trade of Miller will be an integral part of the franchise’s rebuild efforts. Bruce Garrioch of the Ottawa Sun recently mentioned the Minnesota Wild as one possible landing spot for Miller, who faces plenty of shots for the struggling Sabres, but has a solid .923 save percentage. Miller looked just fine in goal for the United States on Sunday, coming within 17.6 seconds of a shutout in a win over Slovenia. The Capitals and Blues also have been floated as possible suitors for Miller, an unrestricted free agent July.
