McShay's updated Top 32
By Tom Carpenter
Now that there is no more college game action left -- all bowls and all-star games are in the rear-view mirror -- Todd McShay has revamped his Top 32 prospects for the upcoming 2013 draft. Some of the more interesting players who moved up and down include quarterback Matt Barkley, who "has finally fallen off the list after he had an up-and-down senior season and his college career ended prematurely because of a shoulder injury," and ILB Manti Te'o, whose drop from No. 7 to No. 17 "has nothing to do with the recent off-field issues he has dealt with and everything to do with questions arising from film study and other inside linebackers moving up."
The biggest change in position, though, came from Central Michigan offensive tackle Eric Fisher, who shot all the way from 20th to No. 5. Here are McShay's thoughts on why Fisher's value has increased so much:
Todd McShayPostseason shuffling has begun
"Fisher stood out at the Senior Bowl with has impressive length, nimble feet and balance in pass protection. He shows good footwork and the ability to hit moving targets when pulling, and appears to have the power to create movement at the point of attack. He could anchor more effectively at times, but he clearly has the skill set to thrive at left tackle in the NFL."
