Cribbs leaving Cleveland?
By Tim Kavanagh
Sunday night's Pro Bowl may wind up being the final time we see particular players in their current team's helmet, and one player in that cohort is Cleveland Browns WR/returner Josh Cribbs. There has been much speculation over Cribbs' future with all the changes being made to the front office and coaching staff.
In a post heralding Cribbs' appearance on Sunday, Steve Doerschuk of the Canton Repository was using verbiage indicative that Cribbs' tenure in Cleveland has, in fact, ended. If that's the case, where will he wind up next?
The Browns didn't make use of Cribbs as much on offense in 2012 as they had in seasons past, but he's still adept as a return man, finishing fourth in the league on kickoff returns (27.4 YPA) and sixth on punts (12.0 YPA). A number of teams are looking to bolster their return game this season -- notably, the Houston Texans -- and Cribbs could be an option for them.
