Could WR Randle break out in '13?

By Tom Carpenter

The 2012 fantasy football season may be in the rear-view mirror, but that just means it's time to look ahead to the 2013 campaign -- it's never too early to start prepping.

Ohm Youngmisuk of ESPNNewYork.com took a look at some potential breakthrough players for next season on the New York Giants roster. Among the players he thinks could make a big leap in 2013 are RT James Brewer, DE Adrian Tracy and linebackers Mark Herzlich and Spencer Paysinger.

On the fantasy side of things, he has running back David Wilson on the top of the list, noting that the rookie "gave the Giants a glimpse of what he can do as a No. 1 back. GM Jerry Reese said Wilson can carry the load of being a starter."

Another breakout candidate in Youngmisuk's eyes is a bit more under the radar than Wilson:

"WR Rueben Randle –- The Giants’ second-round pick last year also came on late in the season, with four catches for 58 yards and two touchdowns in his only start, against the Eagles in the season finale. Domenik Hixon is reliable and can make some big catches, but it may be time to see what Randle can do as the team's full-time third wide receiver."
