Graham's wrist surgery
By Tom Carpenter
Per Mike Triplett of the New Orleans Times-Picayune, New Orleans Saints tight end Jimmy Graham underwent surgery to repair his nagging wrist injury earlier this month. He turned down a trip to the Pro Bowl as a result of the procedure.
The Saints didn't release details about the exact nature of the surgery, nor did they give a timeline for his recovery, but presumably he should be fine long before training camp begins.
The wrist injury could help explain why Graham had more dropped passes than any other pass-catcher in the NFL this season. Assuming he enters 2013 healthy and stays that way, he should be primed for another big season. The fact that catching 85 passes for 982 yards and 9 TDS in 2012 was a disappointment in fantasy terms says a lot about his upside going forward.
