Projecting the Vikes' O-line
By Tim Kavanagh
The Minnesota Vikings' offensive line had a good run in 2012 (Adrian Peterson-related pun intended): the same five players started all 16 games and the playoff game against Green Bay. So will that same group be back this upcoming season?
The left three-fifths of the line should stay the same (Matt Kalil, Charlie Johnson and John Sullivan), but the right side could undergo some alterations. First off, RT Phil Loadholt is an impending free agent, and it's yet to be determined whether or not the Vikes will push hard to bring him back, according to the Star Tribune. In addition, though Brandon Fusco retained his starting job at RG throughout the season, he was in a platoon with Geoff Schwartz for nine games.
It's unclear as of this point whether the Vikes will make a push to sign one of the veteran free agents at either of those spots, or address it in the draft. But based upon what they were able to do in 2012, it seems that it'd be best to keep the quintet together again in 2013.
