Bucs willing to wait on veterans
By AJ Mass
Talking to reporters while scouting the Senior Bowl in Mobile, Alabama, Tampa Bay Buccaneers general manager Mark Dominik hinted that he'd be more than happy to have both Dallas Clark and Ronde Barber back with the team next season, provided of course that neither veteran decides to call it a career.
Dominik said that he "was happy" with Clark's performance in 2012 and thrilled with the fact he stayed healthy for the whole year, a huge concerns headed into the season. As for Barber, Dominik said that he "wants to talk to him," adding that in the end, he wants both players to make their own decisions about whether or not they want to play in 2013 before any negotiating begins.
Still, should the two players decide it is not time to hang it up, there appears to be a locker for each of them waiting for them in Tampa Bay.
