Titus on the way out?
UPDATE: Another proverbial shot fired between Titus Young and the Lions.
"Oh I'm not done, if y'all going to cut me let me go. I'm tired of the threats," the WR tweeted Friday morning. We'll see if the Lions take him up on his offer soon enough.

The business relationship between WR Titus Young and the Detroit Lions should've worked out well. On paper, the speedy Young would form a nice complement to one of the game's elite outside WRs in Calvin Johnson, and the combination would've been tough for opposing defenses to handle. Instead, Young's short career has been marked with limited production and outsized attitude problems. Based upon what transpired during the 2012 campaign, it wouldn't be surprising to learn that Young had been cut, and his exploits on Twitter this week certainly don't help matters.
ESPN NFC North blogger Kevin Seifert chronicled some of Young's work, including the following gems:
"Like I said I never been selfish but if I'm not going to get the football i don't want to play anymore"
"Never have I ran the wrong route, just put my self where the ball was going."
The second tweet is a reference to a play during the 2012 campaign during which he reportedly lined up in the wrong spot; he was benched thereafter, and wound up being placed on season-ending IR, though some believe Young's injury was more mental than physical. The Boise St. product is currently still on the roster; how much longer that remains to be the case is unclear.
