Garcon's recovery plan
By Tim Kavanagh
Throughout the 2012 season, Washington Redskins WR Pierre Garcon battled a foot injury; it robbed him of six games during his initial campaign catching passes from Robert Griffin III, but the Mount Union product still managed to lead the team with 633 receiving yards. With no games to play for several months, will Garcon undergo the surgery?
As of this time, it remains uncertain. According to what a source with knowledge of the WR's health revealed to the Free Lance-Star, Garcon is still weighing whether or not he wants to have surgery or just rest. There's no guarantee that surgery -- which would take three to four months from which to recover -- would definitely fix the problem, and some believe that Garcon is leaning toward rest instead.
