Who calls the shots in Dallas?

By AJ Mass

ESPN Dallas columnist Calvin Watkins has an interesting piece on the many possible names in the mix to take over the offensive play-calling duties for head coach Jason Garrett, should the team ultimately decide to go down that road.

Among the intriguing options are internal candidates Bill Callahan and Wade Wilson, as well as outside candidates Hue Jackson, Mike Tice and Jim Caldwell, though the latter's availability is very much in question.

Of course, when all is said and done, Jerry Jones may well relent his demand for change and simply let Jason Garrett remain in charge after all. Such is life in Big D.

Should the Cowboys look elsewhere for an offensive play caller?
"The Cowboys don't have to make an announcement regarding who becomes the offensive play caller, but at some point this offseason, Jerry Jones and or Garrett will tell reporters what the situation is regarding the offense. "
