Urlacher willing to wait?
There probably are some offers on the table out there for Brian Urlacher, but that doesn't mean he needs to rush into anything at this time, perhaps a sign that he wants the end of this free agency tale to end with a triumphant return to the Chicago Bears.
According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Urlacher is talking with a few teams, all of which he considers to be "a contender." However, he's not in any hurry to sign on the dotted line anywhere.
Truth be told, most teams are in draft mode, and until they see what they do - or don't - get on draft day, there's no pressing need to turn to the services of a soon-to-be 35-year-old whose asking price will be far higher than the rookie minimum. The veteran move here is for Urlacher to be patient, and by the end of April, perhaps the Bears will be the ones who come crawling back to him, rather than the other way around.
