Cards secondary to none

By AJ Mass

In the past two days, the Arizona Cardinals have really gotten under the skin of the San Diego Chargers.

First, they signed Jerraud Powers to a three-year, $10.5 million contract. The deal came just before Powers was set to visit the Chargers to talk turkey, but he liked what he heard in Arizona so much, he cancelled his travel plans and picked up a pen.

Now, they've signed free agent Antoine Cason, former first-round pick of the Chargers who in five seasons never missed a game with the team. Cason's deal was only for 2013, and there's a good chance he may be used exclusively in nickel packages.

San Diego has expressed minor interest in Captain Munnerlyn, but perhaps they should keep those thoughts to themselves for now on. Bruce Arians is listening.
