The Colts' next OC

By Tim Kavanagh

After the Arizona Cardinals successfully poached Bruce Arians away from the Indianapolis Colts, that left a vacancy at offensive coordinator under Chuck Pagano. And there's a very interesting candidate that is available to help take Andrew Luck to the next level.

Namely, it's the man who is currently the "Andrew Luck director of offense" at Stanford: Pep Hamilton, according to what league sources have revealed to ESPN's Chris Mortensen. Hamilton joined the Cardinal in 2010 as WRs coach, and was promoted to OC there for Luck's final season (2011). After that campaign, an anonymous donor made a gift to the program, so long as the team's OC would be referred to by that title.

It seems like it would be a natural fit for Luck, but that's just part of the picture. No matter who it is, it's certainly big shoes to fill, as Arians and Luck were quite successful in their lone season together in Indy.
