Another Browns DC candidate
By Tim Kavanagh
Following the hire of Panthers OC Rob Chudzinski as the next HC of the Cleveland Browns, the speculation turned to who would step in as his coordinators. It's believed that former Chargers OC Norv Turner is going to be the man running the show on offense, and some believed that the two former San Diego employees would attempt to lure John Pagano away from the DC job there. But there are other candidates, as well.
According to the Cleveland Plain Dealer, the Browns will interview former Bucs HC Raheem Morris for the vacancy. Morris spent the 2012 season coaching the Redskins' defensive backs. Should Browns fans be excited about this potential hire? Here's ESPN AFC North blogger Jamison Hensley assessing the Morris possibility
Jamison HensleyBrowns set to talk to Morris
"Morris was the head coach of the Buccaneers from 2009 to 2011, going 17-31 in his three seasons there. Under Morris, a banged-up Redskins secondary played a factor in Washington finishing 30th in pass defense."
