Update on the Jets' OC hunt
By Tim Kavanagh
UPDATE: The buzz has been that the Jets are waiting to make their GM hire first before deciding on an OC, but notably, former Browns HC Pat Shurmur is interviewing for the position on Friday, per the New York Daily News. Where he stands on the pecking order amongst the other OC candidates is unclear.

The New York Jets have been on the lookout for a new GM and a new offensive coordinator this offseason, and the buzz we've heard is that they'll secure the GM prior to picking the new OC. However, with reports that the club is down to its finalists for GM, we may see them land on a particular offensive coach within the next days thereafter. So who's still in the mix?
According to Kimberley Martin of Newsday, former Ravens OC Cam Cameron is no longer under consideration. However, there are still believed to be multiple options on the table, including Bengals assistant Hue Jackson, former Browns HC Pat Shurmur, former Eagles OC Marty Mornhinweg and Stanford OC Pep Hamilton.
It's a tall task ahead for this man, as the new coach will need to get Mark Sanchez and friends back on track.
