If Finley is cut
By Tim Kavanagh
Over the past few weeks, there's been a lot of discussion over whether the Green Bay Packers would release TE Jermichael Finley this offseason, so as to save some cap space. Though he appears to have quite a lot of potential -- and has made some big plays -- his proclivity for dropped passes has haunted him, especially in 2012. The latest buzz was that the Packers were more likely to keep him than cut him, but that could change between now and the start of the league year.
If Finley is cut, he'd draw attention from a number of teams around the league, especially those pining for a V2.0 TE (in the same class as Rob Gronkowski, Jimmy Graham, etc.). One team with a link to Finley is the Kansas City Chiefs, who employ former Packers executive John Dorsey as their GM. ESPN AFC West blogger Bill Williamson thinks it could be a match:

New Kansas City general manager John Dorsey came from Green Bay. I think this is a fit that could make sense if Finley becomes available."
