On to Greene-r pastures?

Could Shonn Greene be taking handoffs from Matt Ryan next season? According to ESPN New York's Rich Cimini, Atlanta is one of the teams with a lot of interest in making a play for the unrestricted free agent.
Greene didn't top the 1,000-yard plateau until Week 17 last season, but his asking price would be considerably less than that of Michael Turner, who the Falcons are expected to release shortly due to his $6.9 million cost. Plus, Greene's "bruising" style would complement that of Jacquizz Rodgers nicely.
Also in the conversation are the Denver Broncos, who are said to be "on the hunt" for a tailback with size to carry the load where backs like Willis McGahee and Knowshon Moreno have failed in the past due to injuries.
