Update on Maualuga, Bengals

Earlier this week, a report emerged indicating that the Cincinnati Bengals were not going to try and extend their business relationship with MLB Rey Maualuga. Instead, they'd simply move Vontaze Burfict to MLB, and bid Maualuga adieu.
Part of that still applies, but part of it has been debunked. Geoff Hobson of Bengals.com spoke with a source with knowledge of the situation that characterized the report as inaccurate. The plan is to install Burfict as the MLB, in line with the earlier report, but the team is also interested in continuing their employment of Maualuga; they'd simply be moving him over to the strong-side, where he played earlier in his NFL career.
We'll know their plans for certain soon enough.
