DeMarcus Ware already is recovering from shoulder surgery that repaired a torn labrum, but it appears that he will avoid surgery on the elbow he dislocated in December.
"Dallas Cowboys defensive end DeMarcus Ware might not need surgery on his hyperextended right elbow after all, a source said. Ware said a few weeks ago that surgery was a possibility. Ware wasn't available for comment, but this is good news for the Cowboys because surgery would have prolonged his offseason recovery time," said ESPNDallas.com's Calvin Watkins.
Ware should be fully ready for training camp now. He has never missed a game in his eight-year NFL career, a streak that should continue in Week 1.
