Should Harvin be traded?
By Tom Carpenter
Percy Harvin hasn't spoken to the press about anything since early November, but a reporter managed to get a little bit of a response from the wide receiver outside of his home on Tuesday. Unfortunately, Harvin didn't exactly give up much about his thoughts regarding the swirling trade rumors involving the wideout.
"I got nothing to say about any of that," Harvin said before retreating into his house and closing the front door.
Harvin has little reason to speak about his health -- he's rehabbing his injured ankle in Florida -- or whether he may or may not be traded, so it's no surprise that he is keeping quiet.
As for whether he will actually be traded and what the Minnesota Vikings could get in return, here is what ESPN NFL Insider Adam Schefter thinks:
Adam SchefterNFL's biggest offseason rumors
"For starters, I don't see the Vikings trading Harvin -- even Rick Spielman said last week there is "no intent" to make that deal. Second, if they do trade him and they don't get premium value for one the league's top playmakers, then they would be out of their minds. Minnesota spent last offseason trying to find another wide receiver. It felt it was one of its weakest positions. Why would a team weak in a spot completely deplete the area?"
