Jets-Folk pairing to continue?
By Tim Kavanagh
In the final season of New York Jets special teams coordinator Mike Westhoff's tenure with the club, things weren't very special. Well, for opponents, there were some special moments -- blocked kicks and punts, TDs, etc. -- but not so many for Gang Green. One of the relative bright spots was the work of placekicker Nick Folk, who converted 77.8 percent of his field goals, the third highest mark of his career, and the best of his time with the Jets. Unfortunately for the Jets, Folk's contract is up. So will he be back?
In the opinion of Rich Cimini of ESPNNewYork.com, it's a relative no-brainer to re-sign Folk, though he may have company:

Positional analysis: Special teams"The Jets should re-sign Folk, who doesn't get enough credit for his consistency. He made 78 percent of his field-goal tries, his best mark in three seasons with the Jets. Look for them to bring in veteran competition; Folk responds well to kicking duels."
