Latest on Canty

Free agent Chris Canty met with the Kansas City Chiefs and Tennessee Titans in recent days. According to Jim Wyatt of the Tennessean, the Titans offered Canty a contract, but the defensive lineman is "continuing to explore his options."
It's not clear whether he is considering meeting with other teams or whether he is simply poring over the financial details of what he could get elsewhere, but USA Today's Mike Garafolo reported that Canty had no other visits scheduled as of Tuesday evening.
ESPN AFC South blogger Paul Kuharsky believes that while Canty could be helpful to the Titans, they may be better off spending their money on other positions:
