More Buffalo QB buzz
By Tim Kavanagh
Many have assumed that with the Buffalo Bills hiring Doug Marrone as their new HC -- and Marrone tapping Nathaniel Hackett as his OC -- that the duo would push to continue working with Syracuse product Ryan Nassib. But he's not their only option.
Chris Brown of BuffaloBills.com explains that the team will consider Nassib, but that he won't necessarily be their top choice by the time the draft rolls around. "The good thing about being in the NFL is you have a great scouting department," Hackett noted. "I've only seen Ryan the past three years. They've seen the whole spectrum. They've seen everybody so they have a good feel of where he fits. So that's critical for me to get around them and talk with them and see about that."
As for any hints on specific players that would be a fit, Hackett explained that his offense can be handled by different kinds of passers: "I'm one of those guys that I think for the way that I teach, everybody could have a chance in a system like this because I could tailor it to them. Figuring out everybody across the board and who it is and then trying to fit that person into the system is the biggest critical factor."
