A return to NY for Bradshaw?
By Tim Kavanagh
On Wednesday afternoon, the New York Giants made the somewhat surprising decision to release 2012 lead RB Ahmad Bradshaw. This leaves the team with rising second-year pro David Wilson and veteran Andre Brown as their top two backs for 2013. Or could they bring No. 44 back?
WFAN's Mike Francesa got Bradshaw on his show following news of the release on Wednesday, and while the RB confirmed that the Giants told him they "had to move on," there was also talk of "future possibilities."
"Like I said, it was mentioned," Bradshaw confirmed. "[There's] always a door open on my side."
At this point, another club is likely to pay Bradshaw more than the Giants would, so a return may not actually be too likely:

"Bradshaw says he's left the door open to returning to the Giants at a lower salary, and generally handled his release with class, which was no surprise. A return is unlikely, though, since the Giants appear to be moving on at the position and Bradshaw is likely to find a market for his services elsewhere once he's recovered from his most recent foot surgery.
