A. Winfield won't be in Seattle for long
By Brent Sobleski
Antoine Winfield has been a mainstay at cornerback for 14 seasons with both the Buffalo Bills and the Minnesota Vikings. Winfield signed with the Seattle Seahawks in April. Seattle is now on the verge of releasing Winfield. The veteran corner won't be out of a job for long.
"According to (Jason La Canfora of CBSSports.com) Seahawks will release Antoine Winfield. Have to imagine Vikings would try to being him back," Chip Scroggins of the Minneapolis Star Tribune tweeted.
"Cornerback remains huge question mark especially Josh Robinson in that slot nickel role."
Seattle still has most of the day to try and trade Winfield. Two teams may put in a call.
"Always the chance Seattle could deal Winfield first -- (Washington) and (Minnesota) had legit interest this off season -- but can be difficult this time of year," LaCanfora added.
