Marshall taking on role of mentor?
By AJ Mass
Brandon Marshall just underwent hip surgery and is still on crutches as he attempts to make his way back to full speed. However, he's not going to let his own issues impede the progress of his young teammate, Alshon Jeffery.
Marshall told ESPN Chicago 1000 that he thought Jeffery had All-Pro potential and he wants to help the wide receiver reach that level of success. "If he just changes some little things," Marshall said, "the way he approaches the game as far as physically and mentally, he's going to be a beast."
Marshall says he and Jeffery will begin their training sessions on Monday in South Florida. Could the veteran actually be the Yoda to Jeffery's Luke Skywalker? Do or do not... there is no try.

Marshall to train with Jeffery in offseason"Marshall spoke openly during the regular season about his desire to train with Jeffery, the Bears' 2012 second-round draft choice out of South Carolina. Jeffery caught 24 passes for 367 yards and three touchdowns in a 10-game rookie season that was cut short due to hand and knee injuries."
