Frampton back for Dallas?

The Dallas Cowboys have a brand new defense being installed under Monte Kiffin for 2013, and the play of the safeties will be vital to its success. As we look ahead to next fall, one of the players whose fate is unclear at this time is Eric Frampton, an impending free agent who filled in at both safety spots in 2012.
Calvin Watkins of ESPNDallas.com assessed Frampton's play for a blog post on Thursday, noting that if Matt Johnson is healthy, it may make Frampton expendable. Ultimately, however, it may make sense to sign him again, as he'll likely come cheap and having depth at the position will be key.
