CB Cook's next contract

In 2010, the Minnesota Vikings used the second pick of the second round to draft cornerback Chris Cook, but injuries have kept him from making a serious impact. To wit, he has missed 26 games during his three-year career and has yet to record his first interception. With Antoine Winfield scampering off to the Seattle Seahawks and Cook entering the final year of his contract with the Vikings, Ben Goessling of the Pioneer Press thinks that "the stakes are probably higher for Cook on the field than they’ve ever been."
