More on Seymour's options

At one point this offseason, the Atlanta Falcons and free agent D-lineman Richard Seymour appeared to be nearing a deal to bring the former Patriot and Raider to the club. Some believed that when Tyson Clabo's cap hit came off the books after June 1, this would be the time when Seymour would be signed; others believe that Seymour will only be added after the team inks its new deal with QB Matt Ryan, a pact which may reduce Ryan's 2013 cap hit. It's also possible that no deal is stuck at all between Seymour and the Falcons.
