Prior to the draft, some believed that the Jacksonville Jaguars would be using a top pick (perhaps No. 2 overall) on a QB to join their competition. The current situation included 2011 first-rounder Blaine Gabbert against veteran Chad Henne; some believed that Henne had a slight edge based on 2012 results, but with a new offensive system, the slate was clean. The Jags did draft a QB, but it wasn't until the fifth round, and the player chosen -- Denard Robinson -- was expected to move to RB as an NFL player. Nevertheless, he could see some time behind center.
