Teams eyeing end of the first round

On Thursday morning, we noted that we'd been hearing a lot of buzz regarding teams potentially trading back into the bottom of the first round, potentially using a 2014 first-round pick as their bait. These teams would presumably be going after a QB, and part of the benefit of drafting them in Round 1 as opposed to Round 2 is that there is an extra year that can be added to their rookie contracts, giving teams a fifth year of control, which is pivotal in terms of salary cap management.
