The offseason signing of left tackle Jake Long was great news for everyone in the St. Louis Rams organization -- well, except for the guy who had been playing left tackle for the Rams. The arrival of Long means that Rodger Saffold will have to move to the right side of the line, but while he is not happy about the move, it appears he isn't going to hold out to express his frustration, according to the St. Louis Post-Dispatch's Jim Thomas.
"No, Rodger Saffold isn’t happy about his impending switch to right tackle for the Rams. But those close to Saffold insist he won’t be a malcontent and won’t be a holdout," wrote Thomas.
