Why the Bucs kept Wright

After CB Eric Wright was suspended four games by the NFL last year, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers voided his contractual guarantee of $7.75 million for the 2013 campaign and won a ruling that maintained their right to do so. It was thought that the club likely would let him walk away, but on Tuesday, the two sides agreed to a reduced salary for this season, so he will be back with the team for 2013, according to the Tampa Tribune's Roy Cummings.
